A social researcher called Rebecca Skorek did a thorough exploration of the Jonas method before investing more time into her approach (moonchild). She noticed that conception took place 14 days after returning a woman’s natal month and the starting of the menstrual cycle. This means that the two methods apply the same technique when it comes to determining the conceiving days in a woman. In both, there is much focus on the natal month. However, we must say that the two methods are not the same despite this similarity.
Is the lunar fertility technique accurate? Many will want to know whether the method is worth trying or not. The truth is, it has worked for many couples. However, we must say that just like any other conceiving method, there are some drawbacks. This means that there are factors that influence its inaccuracy. Since it is a natural fertility management method, it relies heavily on the accuracy of the menstrual cycle. We all know that sometimes there are disparities in the cycles, which make the technique not work accordingly. However, more and more couples are finding the method a worthy option as it stops the need to go for the modern methods of family planning which also has its fair share of loopholes. With more research, a lot is expected on how to make the techniques work.
